The Big Won Creative Ranking 2011 is just out, and Komal is ranked #2 in the “Top Art Directors in the world”; up from #5 in 2101 and #8 in 2009.
In a career spanning eighteen years, Komal has won big metal in at almost every major international awards show like the Cannes, One Show, ADC, Clio. Silver, Epica, New York Festival and Andys among others. At local shows, her haul has been equally impressive: her most recent win was the Print Grand prix at the Dubai Lynx alongside multiple golds in print, outdoor and craft categories.
Komal’s journey started in Bombay, took her to New Delhi via Calcutta and back to Bombay (which by then was Mumbai) before setting foot in Dubai ten years ago. She has produced award winning work on global brands such as Bloomingdale’s, Harvey Nichols, Land Rover, Colgate and Microsoft X-Box.
