Born and educated in the UK, Mark has over a decade of experience across a wide range of disciplines within advertising, branding and visual communication. Mark began his career in the UK, where he worked for some of the most creative hotshops on leading global brands such as Nike, MasterCard, Hyatt and Hilton.
He then moved to Asia, where as Creative Director, he led one of Indonesia’s leading branding and advertising agencies, Oxygen, to the title of Boutique Agency of the Year. In his four years at Oxygen, Mark worked across a range of brands in various categories, including automobiles, banking & finance and FMCG. During this time, Mark was instrumental in developing and shaping the creative agency, as well as driving the growth of new business.
He then made his way to the Middle East in 2006, where a year was spent at TMH, an international branding agency working on clients like Fairmont and Phillippe Stark. Mark was then scooped up by Lowe MENA in 2007, where he managed the agency’s entire brand portfolio, including Unilever, Johnson & Johnson, Abu Dhabi Media Company, Etisalat and MTV. In his current position as Creative Director, he has nicely tailored his brand portfolio to include Red Bull, Puma and Apple, and is a regular fixture in several creative award jury panels, both locally and internationally. In his time at Lowe, Mark has led the agency to a stack of business wins, as well as a host of international awards for creative excellence at the Dubai Lynx, The One Show, the New York Festivals, London International Awards, the South African Loeries.
